Anjali *, a 21-year-old student, decided never to go alone to PG. She took that decision because what she thought a matter of only metro cities ,happened with her. One day on her way to PG , she found that two boys on bike were stalking her. As quoted by her ,”The two boys were following me. They stopped at one point and gazed at me and when I crossed them , again they started their bike and stopped at some distance and were continuously looking at me . “
This is not something happened with Anjali only.But nearly every girl is facing the same situation.
Another student of Central University of Himachal Pradesh,encountered with the same problem. Shivani ,a 21-year-old media student said ,” When I was waiting for bus to go Dramman , four boys in car with loud music were passing by very close to me again and again , giving vulgar expression . “
Chatrii Bus stop being close to Central University of Himachal Pradesh campus and Shahpur Degree College is becoming a hub of eve – teasers.
Being a National Highway and leading towards a exotic tourist place , it witness a huge rush. And because very few buses stop here , girls had to wait for long time which add to the problem. As quoted by Pooja , a student of Shahpur DegreeCollege ,” We had to wait here for long time and sometimes it happen that boys pass comment.”
