Who will win the ground in five state?

Seventh and final phase of the assembly election in Uttar Pradesh and Manipur is over by 8th March. It brought an end to the assembly election fever across Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa which extended from 11th February through seven phases. People and political parties, especially from these states as well as across the country are eyeing the 11th march for the results. Everybody is waiting with their finger crossed for the results to come out.
Election fever and the suspense over the results have not spared the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP) campus also, as it has students and faculty from the states which faced the polls and everybody has their own theories about the outcome. To get the pulse of the speculations, we talked to the students and faculty members about the upcoming election results.

According to the students of central university of himachal pradesh the result will sway towards the third front in Punjab. Anand Vardhan, a student of dept of journalism said that "the results will go in  favor of AAP because the youngsters of Punjab found the third front out of BJP and congress." He also thinks that in the state of UP, no one can tell about the results because all the fronts in  the fray are strong.
But some of the students also said that BJP  has a strong chance in the state because of Modi impact. Faizan Ahmed, a student of MBA-Travel and Tourism said that "BSP have their own vote bank in the state and the party will perform good in UP." But no one have clear idea about the result that who will come with more seats in the state.

There is lots of confusion in the minds of the people about who will win the Uttar Pradesh election on 11th march. It is not easy to predict or say about a state of 403 constituencies.
“ Is bar UP mein trikoniye mukabla hone jaa raha hai, jiske bare me btana abhi mushkil hai (This time it is going to be a triangular contest in UP which is difficult to predict)", says Faizan Ahmed, a student of MBA-TT.

Vishal Sharma, a phd scholar dept of mass communication and journalism talking on upcoming election result in five states.

“The election will be typically beneficial for the BJP In all of the five state. there are  many reasons for this. But main reason is congress is going away from the nation and BJP is the only growing national party in India. And the Modi influence also has an impact on the minds of the public” says Vishal sharma, a phd scholar dept of mass communication and journalism.
Over all the campus stands divided on the outcome of the elections. According to the exit polls the results across the states may give a mix up picture. BJP may come single largest party in the state of UP and some others, but still there could be stronger invisible undercurrents. In case of Uttarakhand and Manipur there may be some Modi wave impact. But in Punjab and Goa, AAP has put up a good performance and have chances to get favorable.
However for some people the outcome of the result seems less important, all they look for is good governance. “No party is good or bad,  but all i care about is that who makes the government should present good administration for the benefit of the public in every state.” says Shoaib Khan, UDC at the office of the Controller of Examinations.

Exit poll Results for Manipur Elections

By: Surinder Kumar & Rishika Sharma

Congress party's constant win for the past 15 years seems to be on the verge of an end, as many exit polls are coming out in favor of BJP in Manipur. According to CVoter Exit Polls, BJP may win more seats, around 28 out of 60, whereas Congress may come on second place with 20 seats. And other parties may grab 12 seats.

But IndiaToday-Axis Exit poll is showing different results. According to them, INC may get 30 to 35 seats, whereas BJP may get 16 to 32 seats and NPF may get 3 to 5 seats in Manipur.

In Manipur politics, from 1st July 1963 till 2012,  Congress or other parties were in rule, but BJP did not get any success till now. But, the picture will become crystal clear on 11th March, the counting day.The upshot we saw in Assam elections, will it turn out same in Manipur too or not, will be seen tomorrow.
